Right now, the Mets, hands down. The reason? It isn't talent (the Yankees, statistically have the stronger team), it isn't the ballpark (Yankee stadium almost always sells out) and it isn't the schedule (Mets schedule is a lot easier). It is CHEMISTRY. The Mets are a great example of a "close-knit" group, who have many potential all-stars on the team, but who work for the greater good, not individual stats. Steinbrenner spends millions each year "buying" a better team, but he still can't seem to buy common sense.

Definately the Mets...they are the class of baseball this 12 months outdoors of the Tigers. The Yankees are puffed up, have not have been given any pitching (even the good ones they have like Randy Johnson are suking.), no grasp hitting, and seem to have not have been given any coronary heart. ARod is a head case who needs to verify a decrease, Johnny Damon nonetheless thinks he's a pink Sock, and Giambi isn't something w/o the juice. They constantly attempt to purchase their way in via having adult adult males like Abreau, yet this 12 months it is not going to happen. on the different hand the Mets have classification and proficient gamers that are enjoying at their height suited now - Reyes, Beltran, Delgado, Wright. those adult adult males are a genuine team and whether i'm an Astros fan, i might like to verify the Mets do good...and that i definitely love seeing the Yankees and their payroll get beat.

Good question, right now, i love the mets, the most complete team for me, i think the yankees will improve a lot, but the have always the same problem: pitching staff. whit te rodriguez salary the can get 3 excellent pitchers. well the mets are better now, but the yankees will be better

I'd be prejudice cause I'm a Red Sox fan, but this year, the Yankees are in 4th place in their division. They have a solid lineup but they have pitching issues. On the other hand, the Mets have the same caliber lineup with a few less pitching problems. Just my opinion.

This year, the Mets hands down. The Yankees are lucky if they finish above 500.
