I know no one else thinks the raiders will be any good but, I think they might be the surprise team this year. They have now had 4 good drafts in a row. A new high energy coach that the players like. A new offense much like USC's. The headache players are gone. the old coaches are gone. Young athletes have taken the place of the crybabies. I'm not saying they are going to the superbowl but, 8and8 or even 10 and 6 is possible. look for them to start out 3 and 1. From there the schedule gets tougher and we'll see how good they really are.

Well I suppose they could finish 0-16 or 1-15 which would have them lower ranked record-wise. However, I don't see that happening. Many people forget how good the Raiders defense is, they were #1 against the pass and #3 overall. They have so much good talent on that side of the ball, all they need is a little bit of offense and they'll win at least a handful of games. My prediction is 5-11 or 6-10 which would land them the 5th - 8th overall pick in next years draft.

The Chargers will sweep them...again.

The Broncos will sweep them...again.

They may split w/ the Chiefs, because the Chiefs are old.

The Raiders will be a lock to get pummeled in their division. Why? Because they are 2-22 in the last 4 seasons against AFC West rivals.

You need to be able to win games in your division 1st. And one decent draft does not a playoff team make. The Raiders have a looooooong way to go to regain any of their "glory" of old. They are taking some small steps in the right direction. But I give them 4 games max this season. I only see them beating Detriot & Houston. And I'm not sure they can beat those teams.

Yes they will improve to 3-13 and rank 1st in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Unless they plan on setting a record by becoming the first team in the history of the NFL to lose every game...then yes they will do better. By how much? Two games or three at the most. They have a good quarterback now and no one to throw to. Stll no running game and the defense lacks plus they have division opponents like Denver & KC so they're hopes are still shot. By the way....GO NINERS!!! WE'RE BAAAAAAAACCCCCK!!!!!

Not much higher if at all. Brand new coach, rookie QB, they've tried to improve their OL some but that will still be a problem. They might win a few more games than last year but wouldn't expect more than 5 or 6.

Only if they pick Andruzzi when he is cut by the Browns and make a trade for Fanca if he goes on the block. They need to better their oline before they do any better but yes I think they can cause problems for some potential playoff teams next year.

Well they won't win any games in their division but they gonna have to do better than 2-14. And just because they got Russell doesn't mean they are guarenteed to win three games, they need their Oline to step up their D is doin there job they need the offense to step up.

Right now I would say they'd win around 5 games next year, but it depends on how JaMarcus Russell does.
