You know the music industry has fallen on hard times. what with downloading, lousy artistic output, and i think peoples interest have shifted to other interest. Unfortunately we end up with this 60s hardrock hangover still going on 30 years on past all logic. Hell ozzy couldnt change the music station hes blown so many neurons from lsd. Man we need decent music.

The 60's will never "be Over", to the people who lived it! Some really great music came from the 60's and 70's and yes, I enjoy it. That was my baby booming era. I agree, the music today is horrifying, and that may be why us boomers keep listening to the oldies! What other choice do we have?, oh and FYI, the group AC/DC was 70's, not 60's! And there was more hard driving rock in the 70's, than in the 60's. Yep and Ozzy was great in Black Sabbath! Oh the good old days, how I miss them.

First off, if the music industry has fallen on such hard times, then why are they still driving around in large cars and living in mansions?? Who's paying for all that? Not me. I can't even afford their concerts anymore. And secondly, classic music is classic music no matter what time period it's from. Are you saying we should just forget everything that went before? And thirdly, you don't think Tool and Godsmack are good?

dude I saw Sabbath in 2005 and it was by far one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. None of the "new" bands I've seen have even come close to being as good as them. We still listen to that stuff because nothing better has come along in 20+ years since it has been released.

Unfortunately there is nothing better to replace it with. Very few of the artists or songs today will be remembered 30 years from now.

I agree with everyone here. Especially the one who said "you poor, poor thing" You just really dont have a clue, do you? You call it trash? These people were pioneers, and the tripe you listen to these days just cant compare to the the old-school stuff.

To each, his own. Oh, you forgot Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Stones...

So, I suppose I should throw out all of my albums and 8 tracks, huh? Oh nevermind, you probably don't even know what albums are, let alone 8 tracks!

Well, if we're not getting any decent music from today's artists, what the fork do you want to listen to?

I listen to the good old stuff.

go on back to your Archies LP, Jughead. We like our music regardless of how jaded or aged you may think it is. (By the way, Ozzie was more active in the 80s than any other time....)
