his word is not the law. don't worry he would have to have very convincing proof to the courts.why is your husband trying to bully you? is this a new tactic for him or his usual behavior? you know who you are and what you are. be strong for yourself and your child.

You will not lose your son he's yours for ever. Your son may be living with his father but you still have right. You should file before your husband does. Depending on the age of your son he might have a say so on who he want to go with. Fight for your son and anything else you want if you do nothing your husband is going to win. GOOD LUCK

Calm down, there's no Judge would take a child from their Mother unless in fact you are a bad Mother!! I am sick and tired of these old broke down *** men thinking they are doing something by saying they'll take your kids away!! Guess what ? They just say that because they know that we love our children so much, so they figure they'll make you sweat a little by saying that! The fact of the matter you will have your son and some of whatever he think belongs to him!!

It is the usual angry threat of a mate, who does not want a divorce. Mine said the same. Once I filed, he wasnt anywhere to be found. He never even showed for the court date. I'm not saying yours will do same. But if you're a caring mom who loves her child, I highly doubt he will acquire custody. Nor will he actually want it. It's merely his way of trying to lash out, and intimidate you. Please remain strong for YOU and your son!

Tell the judge that he was controlling, he wouldn't let you work, or anything else that's true. Tell him that you don't have a car, house, nothing cause he wouldn't let you have the chance to get it. As long as you are fit, roof over your childs head, food in his belly, transportation, any nothing in the house that can harm him in his reach, you'll be ok. Keep your head high.!

Get a mini tape recorder and get it on tape. Document everything, then you file first. He'll have alot of explaining to do when his lies are revealed on tape. Then you ask for full custody, in the best interest of the child, and take max child support.

words are pointless, he has to come up with some serious proof. tell you lawyer about his threats. if anything his threats will hurt his custody chances.

He would have to prove it. They will not go on his word alone.
