They have a chance, but not much of one.

I'm afraid not, Warriors fans.

Yes, you believe.

You believe that your boys can make it.

Well, I admire the fact that you proudly wear your shirts saying, "We Believe!" to every game. I admire the fact that you have been empowered as a city after the admirable upset Baron Davis and the rest of Golden St. caused.

But do you really believe Golden State will win the championship, or even get to the Finals?

It may come one day (hopefully, for you Warriors fans), but not during this year's playoffs. Nu-uh. The eighth seed defeating the top team in the league [record wise] is an accomplishment of magnaminous impact, but there are guys out there just waiting to eliminate Golden State. Your best hope is that they sink deep into the playoff tree.

Remember, Golden State may have inspired your hearts to believe, but there are other teams out there that will thin the chances of another upset.. The Spurs... Suns (my main men)... they're out there.

Yes.. you believe.. believe in what?
BELIEVE THAT SOMEDAY, THE TROPHY WILL BE WITH THE WARRIORS.

Golden State is a very very good team. Don't get me wrong they did beat the best team in the league, but only because Don Nelson knew that Mavs team like the back of his hand. He pretty much set up that franchise. Nelson doesn't know Utah, Houston, Phoenix, or San Antonio. Thats the difference in a series between any of those teams. GS shocked the world, yes they did, I'm so proud of them (I'm a spurs fan) I was paying more attention to this series than the spurs-nuggs. SA can shut down a running team, they can guard explosive players. GS can run with Phoenix, but, for how long? Can GS contain TMac and stop Yao from pounding the ball at the post. Deron Williams is a damn good PG, and Boozer can tear it up on any give night, expecialyl with AK47's defense picking up, its gonna be a tough road for GS any way you look at it. GS can potentially take it all, but the odds are against them. However, if there was one team I wouldn't mind getting past my spurs, it would be GS, they've deserved it.

Everybody's so hyped up with Golden State winning right now (including me).. but i hate to burst everyone's bubble but i doubt if they can go all the way. Yes, they are having an amazing run.. but i don't think the warriors will be the new NBA Champs, at least not this year. Teams like the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs are just to damn good! But that's just me, i may be proven wrong by J Rich and Baron Davis. We'll see.

a chance? yes! all teams have a chance to win the championship...but i'd say the odds are stacked against them...heavily!!!

if they encounter phoenix, they'd have a hard time doing what they did with the mavs, the mavs simply could not keep up with the frenetic pace that the warriors played, their speed simply overwhelmed dallas.

with phoenix they'd be hard-pressed to employ the same strategy, the suns can run too...in fact, that's all they do..ohh...and they have an imposing inside presence who can run with the best of them...amare stoudemire.

if somehow someway they win the west and they end up meeting the bulls in east...well....i think the bulls can run a lot better...they defend a lot better too.

so once again, a chance? yes they do but only by the slimmest of margins.

The W's have a great chance to get past Houston and maybe even Utah. They were 2-1 against Houston and 2-2 against Utah.... they can play these 2 teams, but the 2 teams they can not match up well against are the Suns and the Spurs.......

anyone has a chance to win the championship, how can you people say the warriors have a slim to none chance?they just beat up the best team in the league! the only teams that the warriors have trouble with is the spurs, becuase they dont run that much and play slow ball...any eastern team would get trounced by the warriors

As a Mavs fan (yes, I am still pinching myself) I would say that yes, they have a chance of winning it all. They beat the best team in the league this year pretty handily. Stephen Jackson and Baron Davis are or on fire. I have never seen a team sink 3s on such a regular basis. As for Phoenix being too fast for them, did you watch this series? Don't count GS out of anything this year. Good luck Warriors fans...we'll see you next year...

No. They're too small. They'll get past Houston (run circles around the Great Wall of China and slow down McGrady), but not Utah (Sloan, homecourt advantage, athletic, big). If they get past Houston, they'll lose to the Suns (too fast/talented) or the Spurs (too much D - defense, Duncan).

Chance. NO.

The Spurs win it. Spurs beat the Pistons in 6 games.

I dont think so bc the they will probaly have to go against the rockets and are no way like mavericks they are going to have to guard T-Mac on the outside and Yao Ming on the inside and i dont they are capable of doing both because they did not do it agains dallas.
