I saw that on yahoo answers that someone might have scury??!

I saw that answer too, and I think it's a joke. I believe the person meant scurvy, which is a vitamin C deficiency.

hahahahaha That was an answer to my question! The guy was being stupid. First of all, scury isn't a word, but scurry is (which means to hurry). He meant "scurvy" which is a deficiency in vitamin C, but has absolutely nothing to do with the question I posted. Just a typical yahoo answers smart *** :D

No I think you mean scurvy , it would not be seen in Modern day Britain unless someonr e was severly malnourished .


It is a skin condition affecting the gums also and laterly the jionts in painful spasms . It is caused by lack of Vitamin C , but of course if this vit is alcking obviously all the otherrs would possibly b e lacking too as Vit C is the one that must be replenished in the body daily and quite large amounts as the body cannot manufacture it titself .

Could you mean Scurvy? That's a deficiency of vitamin C. Symptoms include the skin breaking out and bleeding gums.
