When Virgo and Libra unite, it can be like the coming together of two puzzle pieces. Each interlocks into the other and comfortably rests in place. Both Signs are looking for security in partnership, and they share a love of beauty and culture. They can work together efficiently and smoothly because they desire similar end rewards. The Virgo-Libra relationship may start slowly, but it will blossom once both partners grow to understand and respect each other.
Virgo and Libra both appreciate material pleasures, and they often enjoy collecting bone china, art or photographs. They also enjoy patronizing the theater. Practicality and pleasure are important to both Signs, and they compliment each other in many ways. Virgo appreciates Libra's charm and diplomacy, and Libra can even things out if Virgo doesn't get their way. Libra appreciates the Virgo love of order and the tangible rewards that come with it. Additionally, Libra and Virgo see the different sides of a situation, and together they make decisions after weighing all the facts.

Virgo is ruled by the Planet Mercury and Libra is ruled by the Planet Venus. Virgo is an excellent communicator, analyst and thinker. These partners share a love of conversation and fine taste. Libra, especially, is about balance, and both partners share pleasing personalities and a desire for harmony. Together they are able to bring culture and beauty into the world around them. Also due to Venus' influence, Libra can be lazy, and both partners may be seen as snobbish: Virgo with their high expectations and Libra guilty of an intellectual snub.

Virgo is an Earth Sign and Libra is an Air Sign. Libra moves through life theorizing and cogitating on many varied subjects, while Virgo is more pragmatic. Virgo asks, "how will this help me achieve my goals in life?" while Libra simply focus on whatever provokes thought, regardless of whether it will produce anything. At times these partners may find it difficult to understand where the other is coming from. Conflicts can arise in this relationship if Virgo seems too picky or Libra seems manipulative. Both partners need to learn that they view the world through different filters.

Virgo is a Mutable Sign and Libra is a Cardinal Sign. In this relationship, Libra will steer their direction. Virgo is complacent and easy-going, and Libra can be a gentle, guiding force without crossing the line toward dominance . Libra's indecision may irritate Virgo, but Libra is skilled at seeing all sides of a problem, and is often able to accept Virgo's decision. If Libra can be the initiator in the relationship, Virgo is adaptable enough to keep their projects going.

The best aspect of the Virgo-Libra relationship is their mutual appreciation of organization and culture. Aesthetics are important to both partners, and they share a love of the finer things in life. Their similar tastes and loves makes theirs a relationship of great harmony.

VIRGO AND LIBRA Libra is too frivolous and shallow for Virgo's taste. Libra enjoys spending money, going to parties, and being the center of attention. Virgo criticizes and makes Libra feel unloved. Libra may tap Virgo's hidden sensuality but their personalities are altogether too different for real compatibility. Virgo will try to curb and dominate Libra's fickle and outer-directed nature. Virgo is reserved and practical, and Libra views this as a personal rebuff. Libra will soon drift away in search of more fun-loving companions.

You are reflective , analyticat, and refined as your libra lover and can get along famously, as long as libra isn't too wish-washy when it comes to makeing decisions. You'll probably get annoyed with the indecision of your partner, who would rather avoid picking one option over another. Libra will feel pressured by you, even if that's not your intention. Libra will feel judged under your critically discerining eye. But it's not just about making decisions. You may also be critical of his or her laziness. And , unless you have Mercury or Venus in Libra in your chart, you'll probably think your Libra mate isn't very practical... and you'll be right! Libras are more interested in aesthetics than utility. Your Libra will want the walls painted white because it looks better, but you'll want them a light ivory because dirt won't show up as quickly. Actually, you are both keen on beauty and balance. and can build a lovely environment that others find refreshing, clean, and stimulating. Together, you can be prosperous and indulge in the finer things in life. With some individual adjustments, this can be a compatible relationship with good potential.

Libra & Virgo

These two emotionally remote signs are likely to strike up an intellectual understanding. They enjoy being together to argue, work, or attend social events. Both are blessed with grace and tact. From the Libran, the Virgo derives the enthusiasm which sometimes fails him or her, but may criticize the other for his endless need to charm. As for the Libran, he or she is liable to be bored. The Virgo partner works so hard he has little time for love. This couple is not easy to construct, but it may thrive once a bond has formed.

Libra + Virgo

Air + Earth = Dust

Your outgoing, social energies do a good job of balancing the nitpicky Virgo personality. Your love of friendship and open communication will be a tonic for them, helping them come out of their shell. But don’t forget that with Virgos, especially the shy type, there is another side.

Virgos tend to dish out criticism on a regular basis, and you must be prepared to accept some of it. Fortunately, you can handle constructive criticism, because you feel this is the way to improve yourself. Remember, you are symbolically represented by the scales of justice, which means you can see both sides of any situation. You’ll be able to listen to their opinions and honestly try to implement their suggestions. Virgos will love that.

The other reason you do this is because you know that improving yourself is the best way you can give something back to Virgo and build your relationship with them. Once Virgo sees this, a positive feedback loop will start to happen between you.

You are free and easy-going by nature. You love spontaneous action, and Virgo’s love of a fixed timetable won’t easily fit in with that. You’ll need to talk this through, to find out just how much adjustment is necessary so that they can feel comfortable. You like having a free rein to explore your huge social world; Virgo is not that way inclined.

You also like to explore your sexual side — Virgo has to learn to live with this, because it too is not their way. You like to talk about how you feel in a relationship straight away; Virgo needs a more structured and formal friendship first, before they get too involved. These points of difference will be far more marked with some types of Virgos than with others.

Virgos born between 24 August and 2 September will be a good match for you in terms of emotional understanding, and they are not as critical as many other Virgos. Communication with them will flow easily — this combination is not a bad one at all.

Virgos born between 3 September and 12 September are far more serious, and won’t enjoy your social life. They are not very open to meeting people and spending time in groups, which is something you need to do. Think carefully before getting into a relationship with these Virgos.

Virgos born between 13 September and 22 September could be ideally suited to you. They will respond to you sexually in just the right way. However, they can be progressive sexually, and they can take a rather experimental approach to love. If this isn’t your cup of tea, stick with friendship instead of aiming for love.

If there were really anything to the horoscope thing, linking people's personality to what time of year they were born, under what "sign", we would have to believe a lot of other stuff that could never be true. I have never read a horoscope for myself or my husband, or a friend, and found any reference to personality or "fortune" that was even close to being accurate. We tend to forget that we all share the exact same birthday, and hence, sign, with millions of other people from all kinds of different parts of the world, walks of life, intelligence levels, social circumstances etc. etc. etc. Does anyone really believe that he, along with aaaalll those other people share the exact same prediction for any given day -- or have the exact same personality type?
I still wryly remember one time a few years ago, when an acquaintance with the same birthday as me whose horoscope (and, of course, mine) predicted that "You can expect to come to the end of this day with a sense of great satisfaction that you made all the right decisions. Expect good news" He went dirtbike riding and broke his arm in a fall. I had a lousy day and the only news I got was about his accident. LOL.
As for the notion that two people are compatible or not compatible based on their zodiac sign, again, that is the same as saying that everyone born on the same day, sharing the same sign of the zodiac and position of the planets, is destined to have the exact same character and personality. Nothing has ever been proven further from the truth. There are numerous instances of even twins having personalities, not identical but, in fact so diametrically opposite from one another than one could hardly believe they were siblings much less twins.
Nah, the only way to t ruly know whether you are compatible with another person is to get to know him or her, and then if you are thinking about making it a permanent partnership, have a good sit-down talk about the dozen or so truly important issues that two people need to be on the same page with, in the way they think, for that intended marriage to have a chance. What the two of you really want out of life; thoughts about having and raising kids; neatfreaks and slobs really don't do that well together over time; savers with spendthrifts; party animals with homebodies; and if one of the couple is paranoid and possessive, it'll be a miserable life for the other one. Who you are, what you are, and exactly what kind of human being you are is inside YOU, and not "out there" among the whirling balls of dirt in the cosmos.
