Best TV Show theme song in your opinion?

One that sets the mood and gets you ready for the program. I think its CSI Miami what do you think

If you are saying sets the moods for current programs I would agree CSI Miami especially when Horatio gives his tag line and then u hear the scream.

For shows not on any longer or are in syndication how could you not go wrong with the Miami Vice Theme Jan Hammer scores here.

I would go with the theme for How I Met Your Mother for current shows. It's short and not noticable, which when you watch tv shows a lot of episodes at a time on dvd like my wife and I do is such a bonus.
Of all time, the first season Cosby show theme is an amazing tune. I find myself actually dancing in the living room when it comes on and leaving the dvd menu on so it will repeat a few times.
Also, the guy who said the Buffy theme gets a total thumbs up. I think it was the Breeders that did that song. At least they covered it when I saw them live, great choice.

I agree with ddot MASH suicide is painless I love the lyrics "suicide is painless when you're wide eyed and brainless." Who ever wrote that was a genious. I also loved the Frasier theme song.

My surname is Adams, so I have to say The Addams Family, although it gets annoying at times with new aquaintances singing it and clicking their fingers!!!!!!
