I think that the YouTube spots are misguided at best.
The problem with YA is that many of the folks answering dn't know a thing about the subject they are attempting to provide information for.
I'm an expert in my field of advertising. I have 2 degrees and 35 years consulting experience, wrote a markeitng book and ran an ad agency. I find much of the advertising "advice" terrible, if not inaccurate and misleading. If I were a business, I would be very wary of relying on YA to answer my business needs.
The YouTube spots while humorous imply that YA is the place for accurate information, if not AMAZING information. That is not the case. It's more like a blog or forum for discussion. Anyone of any age can give an answer no matter how wrong it is. That's the salient problem with this site.
I run a health information website where professional nurses offer medical answers and every Q & A must meet a strict criteria. Our reputation is at stake. Not so here at YA where, "anything goes" and usually does.

No, it makes me think they grossly misstate the value of Y!A. I mean, it's fun and you can learn stuff, but come *on*.
