I believe, that we are not alone. Think about all the stars that could possibly have their own solar systems, and possibly have an earth-like planet.
Who's to say that any of the other life out there isn't just a bunch of humans, like us on Earth.
They could be in their own version of the Stone Age. Or they could be in the same time as we are in now, its even very possible that they are way ahead of us, and perhaps came to visit us years and years ago.
The Mayans and the Aztecs all had their own versions of contact with other life, but the evidence is there, and its up to us to find out what really happened back then, whether aliens have visited us or not.

I would say we are not alone in the universe, unless some one goes out and checks every corner of the universe. We humans are not capable of going too far. We went only to Moon. We are sending unmanned mission to other planets. The finding can not be 100%, unless we human go and see the things as they are today. Now, the world is lucky. There are some new entrant willing to venture out and explore the possibility. In 10 to 15 years time countries like CHINA and INDIA planned to send their men to the moon. This is nothing but a beginning of new era in Space search, settlement and domination. This field is getting competition because of their entry, which is a welcome sign. As the competition gathers heat, there is going to be an extra urge among nations to invent new technology to reach far reaching places, with in short time. May be during our children time, they may get a chance to settle down in Moon. Once it happens, Moon will become a transit planet. From there all will go deeper and deeper to find out new life as well as new material.
The future is very interesting. Unfortunately our time is very short. We are not going to be alive to see and hear all the interesting stuff from our Astronauts.

OH NO son we aren't alone there are MANY other things out there! Since we see stuff in light years if we do see other beings in space there are probably us developing thousands of years ago depending on how far out in space we see it if it is 1000 light years away it was 1000 years ago. that is what they tell me like when we see a Large metior coming toward us it won't hit us we are just seeing it for the first time although it happened so long ago because it travels so fast in space VERY hard to understand!

considering that everywhere astronomers look, everything is made of the same elements, and considering that there are more stars than there are grains of sand on every beach on planet earth, i would venture to guess that there would be "life" out there somewhere. if there is a god, it would be pretty lame to create all this space and no one but us lowly humans here to enjoy it.!!!!!!

Other life is out there. There's more chance of you winning the next lottery without even buying a ticket, than there is of there NOT being life on other planets.

There is more out there. I believe one day we will indeed find out the truth before too long.

I believe that answer will be different for everyone .. as for what I think – I feel you don’t have to see something to believe in it ..

It is certainly plausible, but as yet there is no evidence indicating where or if intelligent life exists.
