I like a little bit of everything. My theory is that there is something good in any genre, somebody that makes that type of music well. I guess I like Indie Rock more than anything else. stuff like Pavement, Sonic Youth, the Shins, the Pixies. Someone gave me a tape of the Kids Soundtrack about 12 years ago and that corresponded with me buying Bubble and Scrape (Sebadoh), Slanted and Enchanted (Pavement) and the self titled Elliott Smith record (though I would recomend XO, amazing record) and that just changed everything for me. Also a few years later I got OK Computer, that opened a lot of doors too.
I like a little Hip Hop (Dr. Octogon, Mos Def, Jurassic 5, the Roots, etc.) some Jazz (Fela Kuti, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, etc.), some classical, even one or two country and adult contemporary things. And definately some of the older stuff, Simon and Garfunkle, Zep, Bowie, and many many others. A little of everything.

Lots of stuff. Punk, ska, classic, metal, hard rock, prog, anything that's fun to listen to.
Right now I'm listening to New Found Glory's song "Hit Or Miss". Before that I was listening to Mika's song "Grace Kelly" and Fall of Troy's "F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.".

I prefer Rap, since I can freestyle, but I do listen to pop rock, and R&B, but mostly next to rap pop.
