I water the soil two times a day for 20-25 minutes, but nothing is growing yet. Maybe I'm just being impatient- I just planted 2 days ago. I have a wedding in my yard in 2 months, and I'd rather not look at patches of dirt. Help!!

It takes more than a couple of days. Do some research online about starting a lawn from seed.

# You're done seeding the lawn, but you're not done working! The seeds must be watered properly, in order to germinate. Use just a fine spray, as you don't want to create a flood! The soil should be kept evenly moist, which may mean several waterings per day (depending on the weather).
# After the grass blades sprout, you'll still need to water a couple of times per day.

You may have to water several times in short intervals until the bed is thoroughly wet. After that, water often enough to keep the top inch or so of the seedbed moist until the seed germinates. Remember, seeds get only one shot at germination. Let them dry out, and they're dead.

If you over water, the seeds will for sure not grow. Do not make it so the soil has a layer of water over it but just moist. Avoid watering in the day and don't walk on the soil or let any animals on it when the seeds start to grow. Only Water once a day at most.

Grass seed will take at least a week to germinate. You probably won't see anything for at least two weeks. Check the container the seed came in for watering recommendations. Too much water could also "float" the seed away.

At a thrift keep, locate enormous clean glass bowls. fill the bowls 2/3 finished with water. Sprinkle glitter (clean flakes is ultimate!) on the water floor, and flow flora and lit tea easy candles on the genuine.

You need to keep the seed moist at ALL times...not WET.

The seeds germinate, depending on the temp, in 3-5 days.

DO NOT let the seeds or seedlings dry out.
