Yes, he was with her from the beginning. Even as friends she still took care of him financially. Do you remember the Anna Nicole show? He was still be her side as a friend then i guess it lead into something else.

Honestly I think he did love Anna, at least what he thought was love. Love can mean different things to different people. I heard she was at times a hard to deal with person and he seemed to be O.K. with it. Some people will actually reach a point where they do not care how much money someone has they just get tired of putting up with their crap. Yet Howard always seemed to be there for her. We all know if Anna wanted to get rid of him she could have, they were together longer than most married couples.

I don't think Howard K. Stern loved Anna Nicole Smith. I think he loved the fantasy of her, not the person.

Yes, I do. I watched the Dr. Phil episode on this issue, and I think that he truly loved her.
Why is everyone obsessed with her anyway?

I think if she had been a normal person working a regular job at the Sack-n-Save, he never would have looked at her twice. Her fame, her fortune, and her big boobs were more than he could resist.
