WOW....this is a good but hard question. I love food and I have so many favorite places depending on what mood I am in. For fast food I love Arby's, Baja Fresh and Taco Bell.
Sit down would have to be Steamers in Los Gatos, CA and of course The Outback Steakhouse... their coconut shrimp YUMMM!!! And Sushi would have to be one of my most favorites. Kazoo Sushi Boat in Japan Town San Jose, CA.
Man , you got me craving some of this stuff and I am stuck in the office until 2. I am hungry!!!

For a culture that eats so much, this is a really tough question!
I don't eat fast food, so I really enjoy the sit-down restaurants; it's all about the atmosphere. When I lived in San Jose, I loved "Jalisco's" for their great mexican food. I also loved this restaurant in Morgan Hill, CA. called "Just Breakfast" & can you guess what they served??? hehehe, kinda obvious that one!
Anway, those two are probably my favs!
:o)

In Pittsburgh, a place called Pasta II. They serve the most exquisite pasta dishes and the bread/oil dipping sauces are to die for. A little expensive, but worth every dime! Ruth Crist steakhouse is also good, but way overpriced. And a little out of the way place downtown smack in the middle of all the lawyers' offices called the Common Plea. No reservations are ever taken due to the large amt of customers trying to get it, but worth the wait!!

Have you tried Korean food? It's a lil bit spicy and they always come (free) with lil dishes of starters that are packed with flavour.
I generally like haveing korean stew. But a popular dish is the "bib bim bup" which is made up of rice with finley sliced meat, vegetables and an egg on the top. To eat this right, you have to mix all the stuff up until it becomes all colourfully blended then dig in.

Sit-down or fast-food?
My favorite sit-down restaurant is Carrabba's. Their food is SO good and I LOVE that they have bread with Olive Oil and spices. My favorite dish is the Mezza Luna ravioli. SO good!!
My favorite fast-food restaurant is Arby's, the only things that are fried are the...fries, chicken fingers, and hash browns. My favorite sandwich is the beef n' cheddar, favorite fries are the curly fries and my favorite milkshake is the Jamocha shake. Polar Swirls were good too.
