Among the leading Republican candidates, only McCain, 70, has a military record. The Arizona senator spent more than 20 years in the Navy, almost a quarter of it in a Vietnamese prisoner of war camp.
Draft deferments kept Giuliani, 62, of out Vietnam while he attended law school. In 1968, as the Vietnam War was escalating, he was classified 1-A, or draft eligible. After going to work for a federal judge, he received an occupational deferment. He was classified 1-A again in 1970, but had a high lottery number.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, 60, received a draft deferment while serving as a Mormon missionary in France during the war. He was eligible for the draft later, but was not selected.

Do you actually feel as though you are doing something to help you country by spreading lies? Because you are lying when you state that Obama or any other candidate from either party is involved in terrorism. People like you do more to harm this nation than any terrorist could ever hope to do.
Terrorist can strike us and they can indeed take the lives of US citizens. However, they can never even hope to overcome us. They can only defeat us if we choose to let them, if we choose to fight each other and weaken ourselves. Your trite, untruthful political game playing serves to do exactly that. We can disagree in this country, but as long as we do so through mature political discourse we will still remain strong and true to this nations values. Immature name calling and inuendos such as yours only serves to weaken us and make our enemies stronger. So I have to ask, why do so many of you on both sides continue to aid our enemies in this way?

all he has to do, the same as any president.. is listen to his generals that advise him... now if you want to start comparing actual military experience to get a basis for what is acceptable.. we'll have to bring up Bush's as well.. something you guys have been very touchy about for a while.
