My hubby and I think she looks like D.W. from the cartoon "Arthur"!! She has an awesome voice though!

Hello...No I don't believe that she will be bobbling her head on my dash board! Melinda in my opinion is a great singer. However, I do agree with the answer that she will reflect as like Taylor Hicks unless she can really out do herself in her performances in the music industry. She has a great voice and singing as a backup made her what she is today. I look at her in the Contemporary Music group than anything. She isn't really rock or country but more of Easy listening and R&B. I really enjoy her singing and I feel that the last remaining two contestants will be Melinda and Blake. have a super one!

hi,
that was rude, you don't know if she was a sickly child or if she might have had a birth defect of some kind, and you think that it is okay to talk about someone just because you don't like his/her looks. it is people like you who make it hard for people who may not look the way other think they should wont to do something dramatic. why don't you compliment her on he voice and how she has blossomed from the shy woman who walked onto that stage and blew the socks off of the judges, or how she has transformed herself from the little ball of nothing trying to hide herself from the world to this well rounded fire ball who is the show stopper of the show. why does everything have to be an insult to someone if they are doing something good for herself.

Nah...she's sweet and just needs some work done on her teeth. I recorded this week's episodes on the DVR and just watched it. Melinda brought it this week...I think it will come down to her and Jordin.

No. That's mean. She's a sweetheart! I don't know why people are saying she's fake. I think she genuinely is shy. Great voice too!
That said, I want Blake to win AI.
