We have a journalism show hear in SA that actually had hidden camera footage of it out of the back of a restuarant in china. The name of the show is Carte Blanche - maybe it will be on the website...

There was an art piece of chinese eating babies. There are also email pics and fake videos on the internet floating around.I do not think it is true

they say they do it for health reasons; it has certain nutrients and is supposedly good for healing some illnesses and improving immunity...it is actually the placenta that has most of the nutrients

The same reason Americans like to eat snot and food that has touched someone's butt (also based on "hidden camera footage")

I refuse to believe such stuff, and what if it was a once off incident involving one Chinese dude? I dont think all Chinese people do that...

oh my that is unbelievable. I've worked at an all Chinese company and they do eat everything you can think of, but this is too scary. Can someone add a website link to find info on this one. I need some pics, visuals, some proof. I'm gonna research this one I'll let you know what I find.

One source is miniscule - not freaking enough for you to condemn the entire country - or shall we say, one of MY countries? You are GENERALIZING, and you better start realizing it. I have been in China for twelve years and I have never heard of such a ridiculous thing. I daresay the rest of the world has their little interesting stories - who says everyone's to blame?

i remember seeing a picture of that on a website (i think it was rotten.com) but i didn't believe it at the time. in hindsight i do believe it but i'm at a loss to explain why they would. maybe they just aren't wasteful people and in their culture they do things we do understand, which is ok. no one can say whose culture s wrong or right b/c there is no universal standard.

Cannibalism "was" pretty famous in China.
I'm not really sure if they still have it now a days.
I think the reason why they're most discriminated compared to most Asian country is because they basically eat anything.
