Go for it! after digging, mix with plenty of compost. I saw that some others have already warned of manure burn, so true, I learned the hard way. What I do now is add in spots of manure after the seedlings are very well established. Best of luck!

No need to wait. As stated, just clean out the grass and weeds left from the digging. I would not advise using manure if you are going to plant now. Manure should be put in at the end of the gardening season and left to compost some before planting. Do your planting and fertilize according to the planting instructions.

No need to wait unless it's extremely wet or you're in an area still subject to a freeze. Just rake it smooth to break up any dirt clogs, remove any weeds, grass clumps etc...that may be laying around, and then plant! Happy gardening!

It depends on whether or not you amend the soil with manure. If you use manure to amend the soil, then you are best to wait a few days for the soil to "sweeten". Otherwise, you may "burn" the plant.

No, you can start adding stuff to the soil immediately (compost, etc) to prepare it for plants right away.

When with do our garden, we usu. plant right after we dig it up. But after you plant your plants be sure to water them well.
