It's tough to grade since we don't know how the players will turn out. I wish they'd went with a DB with the first pick. But the trenches is where the tempo of the game is decided, so I back up the decision. And hopefully the other picks play well. Quinn would have been stupid, wake up people. He'll be average then we'd have a full number two spot. A waste of a pick. And remember, it's the Packers. Not the Favre's. You don't load your team for one guy. ITS A TEAM. They loaded before and blew it one 4th and 26. They've been paying for that with salary cap issues since. Favre had his chance then.

Its a shame that they refuse to help Favre.
The draft a dlinemen which is okay if he didn't have an injury history and why so late? They obviously had no back up plan when Marshawn went. The WR they drafted from San Jose St is a possesion receiver who I doubt will ever see the field. Such a screw up and there was so much potential in this draft. There were 6 quality receivers in the draft and they can't pull one of them in. Oh well another year of watching Favre do all he can and barely finishing about 500 and just missing the playoffs.

With the ninth %. interior the 2009 NFL Draft. the fairway Bay Packers pick Everette Brown out of Florida State college. reason: The Packers are changing to a three-4 protection this season and that they are going to use their first %. to assist this transition. green Bay ranked interior the backside 25% in sacks final season and this youthful gifted LB will help them with their bypass speeding.

harrell was a bit of a reach. thompson should have accepted the trade with denver to go later in the first round and pick up another 2nd round pick. harrell is not the worst pick though as he'll solidify our D Line which is the core of our defense. that will make the defense very tough. i thought a TE would have been the best pick (greg olsen), but then again olsen cant block so i'm sure thompson plans on waiting another year to grab a goo TE as the class wasnt the greatest this year.

D and I think I'm being generous. They did not address the need for a RB, WR, or TE (basically some offensive weapons) in either the draft or free agency.

D-, they got some very useful defensive picks, but they didn't pick up any offensive rookies which they needed after Javon Walker left last season and what happens if driver gets hurt again, they have no offense again this year, and it will cost them what were they thinking drafting that tackle that high anyway he has injury problems and didn't play his Senior year.

D+ They could have drafted Brady Quinn and a few decent WRs. Running back was also a need.
