Im 37 weeks too, and started losing mine since after getting my cervix checked tuesday. Im losing it in little pieces though. It sucks though because it doesnt mean labor is close. But I am dialated and effaced so hopefully soon. Have you had your cervix checked yet? That might get your plug loosened. Walking helps too. Good luck!

Losing your mucus plug usually means labor is only a few days or maybe even a few weeks away. I lost my two weeks before I had my son, yet I still have to induced. Walking alot helps labor come along.

*Good Luck =)

Sometimes you don't loose it until you go into labor. The first time I didn't loose it until I was already at the hospital. And my water didn't break on its own either.

With the second baby I lost it in pieces. It was very slimely and gross and came out in about a weeks time. I was about 37 weeks. I was induced because I was dialating with out extreme contractions at 38 weeks. So I am not sure naturally how long after you loose it do you go into labor.

I couldn't really help you on this one but with me they induced me at 7am and nothing was happening so then they induced me again at 12pm still nothing was really happening so the Doctor came in at about 2 and broke my water, after he did that I was in full blown labor, I was having all the contractions to finish my dilation and started pushing about 2 hours later. My daughter wasn't born until 6:51pm that evening though, which made me so mad because I was so hungry after-wards and they already closed their dinner down. I got me some food though my husband went and bought me some food.

I lost mine over a period of a few weeks. It doesn't usually just all come out at once. But the day that I went into labor, I lost a HUGE chunk. Really gross.

For some reason, everything stuck around with me. My water never broke or anything. I went into labor, but the doctor had to break my water, for both of my kids. Same thing with my sister.

I lost mine in the hospital. If you want to get things going, when you have contractions, go to the hospital and tell them you're ready. (if you're under 2 weeks away they should keep you and let you deliver. if you don't progress naturally, they can give you petosin.)

I did that with both of my children, born 6 and 13 days early respectively.

I lost it while in the hopspital in labor. My first baby was my slow labor. Nothing seemed to move quickly with my first baby.
