I've been wanting a new graphic card for a while, but I need some info. My desktop is a Gateway 510x.

1. Is there a specific graphic card for this desktop or no?
2. Is there a way to find out if it's VGA or PCI?
3. If there isn't a specific graphic card, would an NVIDIA work?

I have more questions, but for now this is all I want to know.

If I could choose a graphic card it would be an PNY NVIDIA GEFORCE 7600GS 512MB.

It says here that the 510X has AGP output interface.

Go buy an 8X AGP card. Both ATI and Nvidia cards will work. Your existing power supply may be able to handle low power consuming budget cards but maybe not the more powerful mainstream cards.

ok so common answer in view that your motherboard has the Nvidia chipset, i want to propose getting a Nvidia pictures card reason it somewhat is going to run smoother. PCI-E with the aid of fact it does have a 250W PSU, are not getting any Nvidia pictures card that starts off with a letter G until eventually you propose on upgrading the PSU (occasion: GTX 480) bypass with the 9000 sequence a solid card is the 9800GT which became into the perfect card of that sequence meaning it became into the extra valuable appearing card. you will get one for 80-one hundred fifty reckoning on the place you seem have confidence me even with the shown fact that with the 9800GT the form would be very substantial. All settings on extreme with genuinely no lag (uncertain what u gonna get on FPS in view that im a FPS gamer) im gonna say someplace one hundred+ to be on the risk-free factor in view that i'm getting 4 hundred+ on CSS and it somewhat is much less graphically extreme.
