I know how you feel, from the opposite side though. I am usually the one dragging my husband to silly movies for children. He doesn't want to come. But he does, because you know with such things you can't enjoy it alone. Unless your husband has a friend he can go with, I'd say go with him and even pretend you enjoyed it! You don't understand it, I know, but it's important to him. It's your right not to go, of course, but it won't hurt you, I am sure you have wasted more than 2 hours in your life before (we all have). What's the worst that can happen? A little boredom for you, but you'll make your husband happy. And you can exchange it with something (eg. "OK, I'll come with you to Spiderman, but you'll do the dishes for a week).

Maby he just wants to watch the movie with you other than going alone. Its really not that big of a deal to go out to the movies with your husband. Would you rather him go with some other chick that likes to sit for 2 1/2 hours watching the spider superhero? Just go out have a couple of drinks eat dinner then see the movie with your hubby. I guess relationships are all about sacrificing.

I agree 100%. I would NOT want to go. My son insisted that I see the movie "300" with him a few months ago...it was awful sitting there that long and I really didn't like the movie. Go and take a nap while you're sitting there!

I think it's sweet he wants to go with you but...

doesn't he have any guy friends to see it with?!?

My wife hates these movies too so I went to see Spiderman with my buddies and had a great time!

Tell him to catch it at the matinee price. You can skip out so that you can prepare for an evening of fun. He will change his mind quickly.

Well at least he's not going to go with another woman. You should enjoy the time he does give you. Stop being so ungrateful.

Deal with it.....I'm sure he deals with some of your issues.

Sit there, cuddle, or listen to your personal radio/iPod.......if you really don't want to see it take a nap.

too bad you've squished his nuts so hard he doesn't have any friends to go see a movie with. either suck it up and go with him or let him out every once in awhile so he can have a friend to do guy things with.

Brokeback Mountain.?.!.. you really do have him whipped. poor guy. can you please give him back his nuts.?.?.. at least every once in a while..?.??...
