No still too pricey. Plus, the game titles are still few.

Id recommend an Xbox360 any day. For pure fun with your mates over xbox live it cant be beaten! I dont deny the fact the the ps3 is a powerful piece of equipment but its way to pricey and the games simply arent good enough yet.
360 has....
Gears of War
Halo 3
Battlefield
Battle for Middle Earth 2
Hexic!!! (Lol)
Command & Conquer 3
....and loads others!

Yes, if you think about it, it is truly worth the price if you have the rite equipment i would not reccommend it if you dont have a hd tv capable of 720p. The system itself is cheaper than a blu ray player. It is a capable of being a home media center. and it has free online service soon to be "Home"

Yes and it has less failure rate compared to xbox 360.
Loads of awesome titles are on the way for ps3 in the next few months. Thers a lot more to it than just playing games.

No, unless you plan on using the blu ray technology. That is what is making the PS3 cost so much more.

Wait a little bit for the price to drop. $600 for a gaming system is RIDICULOUS!!!!! Plus it doesnt have many good titles out YET. But there are some pretty good ones on the way.
