im really stuck as to what i should do this weekend. ill be around manchester shoppin but i want to do something different my parent have given me and my sister £1500 each to spend but i always just get clothes...please give me any ideas. x

Come to istanbul. 1500 GBP is more than you need.
you may flight with Turkish Airlines (www.thy.com), it takes almost 4 hrs.
you can stay at Swissotel which has a breathtaking Bosphorus scene,
you can enjoy sun (it's hot and sunny), food (very typical meat (kebabs), vegetable dishes with olive oil and delicious sea food), and nightlife (lots of night clubs but you should visit the ones in Kurucesme area, like Reina)
finally you can enjoy shopping as Istanbul is much more cheaper than UK. You can find all the multinational stores (Harvey Nichols, Zara, Mango, Next, River Island, Topshop etc) and some local retailers.

Fifteen hundred pounds is about $2,984.32. What I could do with that money for our unborn child, our home, my husband's tuition (he's in grad school), myself, and still have a nice chunk left over. From the tone of your message, I got the impression that your parents giving you large chunks of money to just throw down the toilet is commonplace. Geesh. I'm not jealous, though. If my parents did that, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Invest it.
Donate it to families who have less than you.
Save it for college.
Invest in an English/grammar tutor so that you can better get into college.

You could go on a weekend to Budapest. It is really cheap when you are overthere. You can get 3 times as much for your money as you can in England.

How old are you?
Maybe start shopping for the future... pretty things for your future home, like chine pieces or linens. Do you have a good camera, take some pictures, print them and make them 8x10's, frame one or a few picture that your Mom will love for Mother's day... it is on the 13th... do you celebrate mother's day like we do in the states?
