I am thinking the "character string" confirmation
that I have to do in yahoo mail sometimes really hasn't won the war against spam after all. But they say that's the reason for it right?

Not mine. I love spam for breakfast. It goes great with toast and jelly, and the stuff has enough preservatives in it that if you eat enough you may live forever. At least that is my hope for immortality. Bilbo B and Gyorzxk feel the the same way.

Mine works pretty well on yahoo actually, every once in awhile a spammer slips by but for the most part once I check a square box and click spam I never see it again.

Every now and then it does and some of them make me blush when I read the Subject line! But last night I got several non-spam e-mails that I really enjoyed (wink)!

I , surprisingly don't get all that much spam in yahoo or my other e-mails....
I have a pretty tight security system....never any pop ups either.

I have 1,055 e-mails in my spam box just now, so it seems to be working fine. I always worry that something I need ends up lost in there :-(

Oh my no...Chola always keeps her inbox very clean....I cannot immagine it with spam..oh yuk...my inbox must have something much much better in it...or nothing at all...!

Yeah, on your significant inbox window, checkmark all the messages you elect to delete, then click the junk mail button. it is going to immediately circulate all messages to the junk field with out you beginning them.

all my spam goes to the bulk folder. on the beta version its in its own folder. spam sucks!

When that happens, I just cube it up throw in some potatoes and green chillies and stir fry it. Not bad.
