"To let any rumour or slander of anyone 'End With Me".....That is the best that I have ever learned as we teach others how to treat us and it is contagious!!!! My BF actually gave that to me....of all I have learned that is the MOST gentile and compassionate....He got that from HIS mother...and so it goes.
Thanks

Boy use a condom - my granny did! I have seven kids 4 boys and 3 girls. Guess it didn't work with all the other advices she gave.......if I only knew that she would be right.....NOT!

I'm happily married with 7 children, my wife and I with great careers and couldn't be happier. It's not really the advice that is given to you, to me it was the value in their willingness to take the time to make sure we were on the right path. And her ways and words (my grandmother) will never leave my heart, my mind, and my soul forever.

My Grandmother really did have great advice for everyone....even the knuckleheads like me. Thank you for such a great question!

The doctor told me I probably couldn't get pregnant and my mom told me not to listen and to ask for a fertility pill anyways. Best advice ever!

I was upset over something, one day.
My friend who had terminal cancer said, "Don't worry about the small shyt, and ellie? It's really all just small shyt." That is the first time I ever heard that statement, years ago. His name was Chuck...he's gone now. But, he taught me so much!

2 pieces, equally as important:
1. if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is
2. if you let someone borrow money, make sure you can afford
to give it away because there's a chance you won't see it

Always listen to your gut instict. My grandpa. He always seemed to think I had a "special" sixth sense. Weird, I know. Every time I haven't listened to my gut instict, things have gone bad.

When I was a new policeman I was told "never pass up a chance to go to the bathroom, in this job you don't know when the next one will be!"
It was my next older sister who was a police officer before me and is still one. She is the coolest ever.
