I was invited to a conference that was so boring, Thereafter they borrowed me a couple of CD's that repeat the same BS, the key to success, etc.
Basically you have to buy a product they claim is the best of its kind, and bring more people to get involved in the same "business".
I told them, I'm definitely not interested, but they insist with daily calls, asking me to let them explain how the thing works.

In general, the only people who are successful are the people who start the pyramid scheme. You seem to be involved with a MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) scheme. These people are trained to keep calling and calling. It is obnoxious for them to keep calling you after you said you were not interested. Next time they call, just hang up on them without talking to them. You do not have to be polite to rude people.

I could say more about these people but these links discuss them better than I can. Read them.

The way pyramid schemes are set up the person or group that set it up, always make money. The people you recruit give you money and you give the person who recruited you money and eventually the only person doing well are the original group that set it up. Do not join this scheme the fact you went to a lecture shows you how many people are involved and you will get shafted ( squashed under the weight of the pyramid).

Nope. Short term you may make a buck if you are basically dishonest enough; long term you will probally end up in jail.

Pass.

i agree with first speaker, pyramid schemes will only do harm to others before you're caught, and harm to yourself and family when you're caught.
