Kinda pathetic-the world was a much different place. They all tried to disatnce themselves from Bush. It took them almost 8 years to find a new hero. I did like Duncan Hunters comment on "Free Trade" and how the American Army is getting screwed. It is not the Party- it is the issues. None of them want to talk about National Health Care-because if they become the Repub candidate-the Drug companies etc. will be helping to finance their campaign.

It's the liberal loonies who want nationalized health care. Republicans are supposed to be more conservative. If any Republican candidate favors nationalized health care, he won't get elected.

I fail to see how finances from drug companies have to do with "Republicans" more then with "Democrats". Anyway, If I were a Republican contender, I would say I try to follow Nixon legacy. I think Nixon was a great president, and I DON'T think he was responsible for failing to arm Cyprus during the Turkish invasion (I mean, as far as I know, he wanted to help Cyprus, just like Roosevelt, in 1942, wanted to help General Mihailovich's Yugoslav Army of the Homeland, but for some reason, it wasn't carried out).

Why should anyone in a presidential debate even mention the current president, since he will not be running in the election. Plus, it's a year and a half before the presidential election...who's gonna remember this? Geez, people, get a grip.

In the first place, his name is spelled Reagan. Regan was the Treasury Secretary. National Health care is a huge loser. Hillary Clinton proved that. All national health care would do is give the Democrats access to more of our hard earned money. All Democrats know how to do is tax.

Just what this country needs is eight more years of a Reagan for president. We can have star wars again. ketchup as vegetable and Ollie North as head of the National Security Council.
