i have just signed a lease to live in a house wit my ex gf and i have a dread feeling in my stomach! i still like her but we have summer now and dont have to move in for 3 months!

That is a little odd. I suppose it depends on how you broke up. If it was amicable then maybe it'll be ok, but if it was a little messy it could cause problems in the future. Hopefully neither of you are jealous people, otherwise it could be VERY awkward & hurtful if you bring anyone back for "a cup of coffee".

Most leases can be broken with a minor penalty before you move in, though. Check it out. It would benefit both you, your ex-girlfriend, and the landlord.
Sounds like you aren't ready for this type of commitment. Trust your instincts- in this case your stomach.
Suggestion, call the leaser.
