I have a standard Dell computer (Dimension, I'm pretty sure) looking to buy a:

"Gigabyte Radeon Sapphire X800XL 512MB PCI Express Video Card"

It depends on the price. It's GPU is about 2004 technology. If you can get it much cheaper than current mainstream cards, grab it. TAKE NOTE that it is a 50 watter. If your power supply is less than 350W, it may not be able to power the X800XL. It would also need good case ventilation.

If that is going to cost you more than $75 or so just get an Nvidia 8-series. They come as cheap as $130 for th 8500.
