Bentley is the correct answer. Lets face it Beckham can no longer be taken seriously as a ' football player ' .Yes he's an ' Icon ' but for what he now does ' off the pitch ' not on.
Becks is now going to Hollywood which is were he and his publicity seeking wife belong and Becks ' the soccer player' will still look good in a League that will be played at exhibition pace and is of a standard a kin to the conference.

Footballing skill and ability wise Beckham is past his best and was only an exeptional crosser of the ball and set peice man in his hayday. Bentley has had a superb season and has proved as good a crosser and has pace (lacking in beckham CURRENT game) and he can beat people. he also does alright for goals. Bentley 1 beckam 0
for personality, well i don't know either of them personally, but from what i gather beckham is a real nice guy, but a bit dumb. also i heard he hasn't really kept in touch with any old freinds from before he was famous or his Man u team mates (bar G nev). Bentley seems like an easy goin person and gets on with everyone, even sparky. gotta give bentley the win on this one, but i don't really know.Bentley 2 Beckam 0.
Style:- ok this one is fairly easy, beckham shows a far superior technique on the ball, and makes strong decisive runs off the ball. so does bentley but becks looks more fluid/natural. Bentley 2 Beckam 1.
Looks:- I'm one of those guys who can't see what women see in any bloke, we are all ugly as sin, so this one was transfered to the other half, she answered beckham without a pause, but when on to say G M Pederson(sp?) was far fitter than the both. After recovering from this conversation i realised it was a draw 2-2. so i threw in a tie break, and gave it to bentley coz he has more years of top flight football ahead of him than beckham, and we all know thats the pinical of all footballers careers, even sucessful managers will tell you there's no feeling like being out their on the pitch.

jury continues to be out on that. At bentleys age , Beckham develop into an indispensable part of the guy utd crew, which develop into the superb crew in england on the prompt. also regardless of human beings say about becks, you cant question his attitude and professionalism..while bentley shoots his mouth off each and every probability he receives, and refused to play for england u21s. He has ability, yet he nonetheless has plenty to teach

Ladies love him and skills-wise he streets ahead. Beckham has dead-ball but he can't dribble, tackle, only runs in straight lines, and at the moment he's second rate. Bentley on the other hand is playing out of his pants and his chance in the full England squad is about to come up.

i kinda like david bentley, cos he looks a bit like wentworth milller (hot bald guy of prison break fame) hahah... and i never liked david beckham anyways. it's the voice and over-exposure that spoils me ever enjoying him. football skills-wise, can't judge, since i haven't seen beckham play in a while.
