I remember being in my parents car and watching the moon. I used to think it was following me b/c it was always there.

Will always remember by 10th birthday. I was hoping to get the best gift for Christmas but it did not appear under the tree. For two weeks after Christmas, I hated my parents.
And one day I arrived in our apartment. They were both sitting on the sofa and very quiet. I said nothing and went to my room. My father called me.
"Happy Birthday," he said.
"Thank you," I said for I still hated them.
"There is something for you," he said and pointed to a big box.
There was nothing I could say. My heart was pumping heavily when I saw that box -- inside it was my Remington Quiet typewriter, just what I wanted to write.
I love my parents. That was 50 years ago and I still have my typewriter.

Mine was when I cut half my thumb with a steak knife in autumn, I was trying to make a hole in a conker. I think I was about 5 or 6. That hurt I still have the scar 19 years later.

Being at my parents' old farm, sat on a tree while watching the sunset during warm summer afternoons..singing my heart out...while my brothers and their friends played football or made a fire...later on, I joined whatever they were doing.
For some reason I'm feeling really old now...

There is no book like The wind in the willows by Kenneth Graham. I loved it so much I bought it for my Grandson's christening present, bound in silk!
