TIME in general is important,
even to the thiniest second.
so if it's between a minute & an hour,
the smaller one would always affect the bigger-
or should i say the first than what comes after..
if you start off the minute great... you'd have the rest of the hour.. & more hours to come.
if you used up the minute badly... you'd lose not just the hour,
an entire day or possibly in some cases, the entire future.

Important?? An hour can be used to have a conversation, make love, make dinner, watch a tv show, take a long walk - ANYTHING!!! WIthin that hour you use the MINUTES together to get a cohesive experience.
A minute is only 60 seconds. Sometimes the best moments happen in a minute, but if you really think about it, many times those "great minutes" needed an hour of setup, like anticipation or preparation (as in comedy or a movie or a romantic encounter). Many times tragic things happen in a minute (car crash).
Lastly, in regards to meetings or appointments, the hour matters, not the minute. 5pm, not 5:02 is what matters.
I say the HOUR is more important.

Within an hour, every minute may be as important as the other.... overall however, the hour is 60 times as important as an average minute.
The truth nevertheless is that the importance comes from how it is used... a minute well used can be more important than an hour wasted.

It's just a moment that we live in, like a transport between future and past, from cradle to the grave, the moment that is called life, and it is the most important, because it is "now". You never know what will happen next minute or next hour, and you know what happened last minute and last hour, but we can't really say which one is important, they are just different amounts of time combined from those moments that you lived or will live

The minute is more important because every minute we use becomes an hour.

Seeing as the hour is composed of the minute, than I gather the minute is. But going with the same reasoning, the minute is composed of the second but that's not a choice. So Ill go with the minute.

Hard to say, really. It's interesting how mankind takes something that is linear and attempts to make it circular. For example, "It's 11:00 am. 24 hours from now, it will be 11:00 am again" where the reality is that it is a moment that will never happen again.
