I have three guppies, all of which I THINK are male.

Temp 26degC
Ph 7
Gh 25
Kh 4
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Ammonia 0.15

The tank is in the process of cycling.

I feed them as much Spirulina flake as they can eat in 40 seconds in the morning, and a few freeze-dried bloodworms at night.
Two of the guppies are fine, and haven’t put on any weight.

But the third has developed a HUGE round belly. The last two days, it’s also been hiding in the tank’s castel, or in behind the heater. (I've just found a pic of the fish from last week, and the belly is nearly 5mm bigger.)

Is it possible that the fish is constipated, or that I was sold a female and it’s now pregnant?
Or is it suffering the ill effects of cycling?

What makes you think its a male? Im not being smart here. Some times when the guppies are young the pet stores think they are males. Their are several ways to tell if its a female.
The "G" spot as i call it. It will be dark. Her belly will be very rounded and just before delivery her belly bottom will be flat. Females are larger then males.
Female tails can be colorful but not as large as a male.
Males are long and slinder. Most the time when you buy from a pet shop they are new arrivals. They are around 3 to 4 months old and not full grown yet.
If you don't want the fry (babies) then just leave her in the tank to have her fry. If you want to keep the fry then get a breeder box.
If she is a female then you need to get rid of her or get her some more females. Usually its 1 male 2 females. This allows the females to rest and not get picked on by the males.
To be honest with you if you are housing all males it will become a problem. Males sex drive are crazy and they will avenually begin to fight eachother and rip tails. I recommend you get a few more females for them to play with.
Good Luck

It's possible that you have a pregnant female, with a photo of the fish I could tell you for certain. The activity you describe is common for a pregnant female guppy so that supports you idea that it's a female. If at all possible upload a picture of the fish to a photo share site and add a link to it in the additional comments for your question and we can know for sure if it's a pregnant female of a male with a health problem.

Sounds to me as though you have a pregnant female guppy. if she is in hiding she is probably pretty close to giving birth. Unless you move her into a breeding trap most, if not all, of the fry will be eaten..

I think your male guppy had turned in to a female guppy. I have heard of this happening.

It may be a female. It could just also be bloated. I haven't seen any fat fish before.
