There is no hard and fast rule for love and loving or falling in and falling out. But love does require time and space. You have to give time and let things slide before it takes over both of you. Don't push it.

Your boyfriend is absolutely correct , there are two ways a person can fall for each other 1. love at first sight. 2. developing love after a short time. Well i think No 2 category is yours from your boy friends point.
