besides a few minutes of the Japanese preparing for the attack, the attack it's self and the Doolittle raid the movie was fictional bull.
if you want a better move adaptation see 'tora tora tora'.

The movie sucked big time. Tora Tora Tora is much more historically accurate. I was really disappointed in Pearl Harbor the movie as the first ads I saw 6 months before it came out it was a war story then it was edited to be a love story so more women would attend with the spouse or bf. My opinion it was a horrible move.

Its about 2 childhood friends who become pilots, One falls in love with a girl, becomes MIA during a battle, his friend begins to love his girlfriend, they move to Pearl Harbor. The friend returns alive, they fight over the girl, then the attack happens

Very little historical info...lots of good looking hollywood stars slutting it up. I hate that movie so much. I would summarize the plot, but its so unrelated to history and the main part of the movie is Liv Tyler (I think..)'s character jumping from her boyfriend to his friend and back to her boyfriend and then someone dies in that dramatic hollywood type way. Basically, thats the movie.
