First off I am a 17 year old virgin who is for the most part fairly healthy. Latley however I have been feeling severe discomfort down 'there'. At first i thought maybe it was my underwear, or the fact that i haven't shaved for awhile, but even after changing the kind of underwear i was wearing for a few days, and shaving it didn't seem to help. I noticed this morning i'm very swollen down there, for example everything looks bigger, and some parts 'longer' if you can get what i mean? Then today, i was having a lot of whiteish discharge that ruined my underwear. I am also feeling discomfort in my back, stomach, and uterus area, almost like pre menstrual cramps but different. Should I be worried? I know it isn't an STD because I'm a virgin, but I'm still scared.

To: tm41170, I'm a girl what guy gets their period? Seriously do you not think? And when I mean certain parts look longer I mean the Labia Minora look longer, okay? I didn't want to give so many details. Why would this be a bogus question, I think you are not one who thinks before he types.

So an update: I'm still a little swollen but it's gone down, and I don't feel as uncomfortable and the pain isn't as bad in my back, and everywhere else. However I will still call my mom, to set up an appointment for me on monday.

0ok the discharge and swolleness is prob a yeast infection....especially if it itches or when you pee it smells alittle funky down there...and the back aches and stomach aches etc could be a urinary trat infection...I have had both at the same time too. it has NOTHING to do with being a vigin...you can get a yeast infection from eating too much sugar as well as not changing your underwear enough and I get them alot right before my period starts. the UTI could have come from not drinking enough water.. You need to go to the doctor ASAP because they will need to give you a pill for the yeast infection (usually if the yeast infection isnt bad you can cure it will the monistat medicine but since you are having pains it may have gotten so bad that the creams wont work) and the doctor will also give you pain medicine for the UTI and antibiotics. ALSO the antibiotics may make the yeast infection worse sooo eat ALOT of yogurt with the bacteria in it..that helps ALOT and drink BOTTLES AND BOTTLES of water and take about 5 cranberry pills every 2 hours that will help to knock it out too :) hope that helps I have had PLENTY of experience with that...

honey, it sounds to me like you may have a yeast infection along with a uti ( urinary tract infection ) and i can totally relate to the fact that things look bigger and longer than usual. that is quite common....so do not worry about it. just be sure that you contact your doctor as soon as possible so you can be seen asap. in the meantime, you might want to try a little hydrocortisone 1% ointment and apply to the affected area(s) 3 times a day until you can actually see your doctor so you can be diagnosed......i know these things can be very uncomfortable....but hang in there until you can get a prescription from your doctor, ok?? i hope this has been helpful for you and i want to wish you the best of luck and may God bless and keep you safe and healthy until then.

Sounds like you might have a UTI. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice and see your family physician ASAP. If left untreated... it could get worse. You need some anitbiotics. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

maybe you have UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) .. if it hurts when you urinates then you got fever, then most probably is a UTI.

Just drink a lot of water. Cranberry juice will be of great help.

It sounds like you could have an infection going on but the only way to find out for sure is to have this evaluated by your dr to see if they think that's what could be going on.

ummmmm, are you a guy? (some parts look longer) or a girl? (your period is regular) make up your mind, I think this is a bogus question.

Go see your doctor and find out rather than asking strangers to guess.
