I cant believe how different we are in European matches away from home. We are diabolical. That defeat to Milan was awful. Vidic wasnt fit, Heinze has lost the plot, We couldnt match the sheer passion of Gattuso, what a great player. We need to buy someone to replace Roy Keane (still) a battler who can lift the team like Roy did. First choice defence is fine, but look what happens when they are injured. Sorry but O'Shea, Brown, and even Heinze are just not good enough. If we buy a couple of good defender/midfielders then we may have a chance. Saha is crocked too much so we need an out and out goalscorer too.By the way, I was 16 in 1968 when we won it the first time so have watched the reds for a long time. It would be so good to win it again. I hope we can in my lifetime.

Well they are there again next season that's a start. Look we were shocking the other night. None of us are denying that. But to write them off for a bad performance is not logical either. Anyone who is there has the chance and while there are things we need to work on, like away performances and the retirement or possible retirement of some stalwarts, there are positives for United also. As long as they learn from the experience and loss they have a good shot at getting Fergie that title before he sadly leaves United.

Yes, if they can work on their basic defending and ball retention. Owen Hargreaves will help with this, so they should pull out all of the stops to sign him asap.
If one manager can win it a second time it is Sir Alex. People didn't think he would win it the first time, but he did. What he needs to do is to transfer his desire to the minds of his players, so that it becomes THEIR vision aswell. They need to be thinking " THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MUST BE WON AGAIN. "
This kind of mindset does work. I wouldn't mind betting AC Milan's motivation came from the prospect of heaping revenge on Liverpool. They have probably been thinking all season that they MUST win the Champions League again, to atone for what was a very painful night for them 2 years ago.

Well I can't say it's impossible but when looking at the number of years he's managed the team I have to say he's failure as he never played the final since 99. So I don't see them playing even the semi's next season. And i find it crazy the way Alex is honoured tough he's not been that good in europe terms.
Thanx!

Yes,because I'm a diehard Man U fan.But first, they must buy players like Owen Hargreaves and Fernando Torres.Second, they must stick to 4-4-2 at all times, with Rooney and Torres as first-choice strikers.Third, they have to perform very well at all times, especially against the likes of AC Milan.Last but not least,I hope they don't suffer any injuries.

Well it could be that he will uplift the team up once again but it only depends on him and the management of staff that will tell the future of man u but i personaly has learnt that the season next ahead is going to be fantastic and that we gonna starts with a deferente team spirit i think these year was a year of man u but it is unfortunately that we lost to milan of italy but that will not break the team spirit that we have now no panic... next year is our year let leave every thing to the members of board and staffs of the team and also these goes to ferguson and i am sure he is going to put up a strong side next season

Not the way they played on Wednesday night they won't. And I hate to say they won't beat Chelsea in the two games they've got against them.

Maybe. But this time round they got to build up their midfield.
They need new blood to replace Giggs and Schole.
Carrick is not the ideal replacement for Keane.
Rooney need a partner striker like Drogda who compete with defender physically.
Keeper, they need to look out for talented keeper to replace Van der saar.
Defend wise think is time for some basic training.
