Friend,

first understand Education and Sports are not one .they are neither interdependent.

You can be a good Sportsman without any Education.But Every Sportsman may not get a good opportunity..even if he gets the span of active life is limited.

Education is different.There is no end to it.You have ample opportunities if you are well educated and you can serve as long as you wish.

sport is important in ones life...it's a pity so many youngsters are fat, so yes, sport should be given an important position in educational process, however all the youngsters aren't fit to perform as sportsmen...I suppose sport should be treated equal to other studies...

unfortunately v in India never show a professional attitude.
take for example australia,how many leading sport personalities r qualified eng/doctors/lawyers?
the system is such that u r groomed in a field that u r liking.
only when such a system comes will sports become a top priority in india.

Yes, because usually sports are more active than geeks. And, there is no room for a job for lazy people when sports are around.
