I think it is a ridiculous notion. First of all, that is a major threat to homeland security. We don't know which of these immigrants is going to be the one with a bomb around his waist. I'm not saying that illegal immigrants are horrible, but they shouldn't be granted citizenship. How about instead of giving citizenship to illegal immigrants, they could do something to speed up the process for legal immigrants who pay the fines and finish the paperwork, instead of making them wait 5 to 10 years just to become a citizen?

legal immigrants are fine because we are the melting pot of many cultures and societies.. but there are laws for ILLEGAL immigrants, so the GOVERNMENT needs to enforce the law as it stands, and stop making ridiculous new laws just to get votes... the LEGAL immigrants do things the right way..they make good citizens.and good neighbors.

I agree with everything you said except the bomb part, illegal people don't have to bring bombs, we have enough people with bombs in the US. I think it is bad that it is so easy to become a citizen in the US. I have checked out moving to other countries and it is real hard to get in. I also believe that immigrants should be treated better.

No, they should have to follow normal procedures. When US citizens go to other countries we are not even allowed to buy real estate. We are allowing our country to be sold right out from under us in so many different ways. We have no special rights when we are in other countries as US citizens other than going to the Embassies and requesting assistance and in most cases we still have to follow all of the other countries' laws. We should be following our own laws here in our own country when it comes to foreigners in our country that have not yet become citizens.

Most of the threats are from domestic terrorists. Look at the facts, none of the 9/11 terrorist's came from Mexico but either over stayed their visas or came through the Canadian border.

illegal immigrants have shown their true colors...by the flags they waved in their marches. we know they don't regard the innocent law-biding people who wait in line. as to letting more in, maybe thats a good idea, but what makes illegals flooding in from mexico think they have the market on being here? they're not fleeing any kind of persecution. their own president fox gave them a book on how to manipulate our laws. think about what you're saying when you are so lenient on them. they deserve punishment. mexico isn't a third world country and they are the only nationality that while here, refuses to assimilate

i agree, but i feel they should send some of them back and close off our boardes. it's making things harder for our kids in school. we can't say GOD an anything any more. we are tramping on other people rights and there beliefs. what about our rights, we were here first and we grew up believing in GOD. now you can get sued for using GOD, if you offend someone. I say
GOD Bless US ALL
