I was downloading a VB 6 when AVG detected two threats : both are Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.DZD. It was in a folder and I deleted the folder manually (not using AVG). I still see the files in AVG Virus Vault, what should i do to get rid of the files ? When I click the file details, in source it says backup copy, what does this mean ? If I delete those two files using AVG Virus Vault, will this make my system safe ? Please help me....

The virus vault is a secure store, they cant't do any harm. You can tell AVG to empty the vault, it will do this safely. Any other method may give them the opportunity to activate.

When you have scanned with AVG and found those two files then you better delete. Even if you delete those two files you can download later.

When we delete file it remains in computer unless you clean trash bin.
