it depends how bad your house looks, if it is not too bad then go to town. And you can do the house work later, That is what I would do.

One day you will be to old to go to town but you will probably still be able to do some housework. Prioritise, SPEND THE MONEY in town.

Do some small chores like your daily ones - dishes, a little sweeping and watering the plants. It shouldn't take you more than an hour so you'll have time to go into town and shop or have drinks outside. Have fun!

How about a bit of both? Do a few chores (not too many) then you can go to town guilt free and treat yourself for having done said chores. Best of both worlds. Yeah - and then a spot of lunch somewhere you like - why not! If we don't treat ourselves now and again - who will? Enjoy! ;-) x

Housework can wait. If it''s a nice day, go have some fun.

Who eats off a floor. As long as nothing bites you as you walk across, why worry about it.

Why not do your housework then go shopping and treat yourself for doing such a good job!?

Get on with the domestic jobs.
Once I caught my wife shopping when she had jobs to do so I bought a large strong box and locked up her shoes so that she could not go out. In spite of this moral support that I gave her, we are now divorced.
