Why girls have longer hair than boys?

Because it is deemed socially acceptable, generally, for girls to have longer hair. This is only in some cultures and universally a modern phenomenen. It may be because traditionally men did more physical labour than women, including fighting, which long hair might have gotten in the way for. Additionally, long hair is seen as a sign of fertility and attractiveness biologically, which may be why women are more prone to growing it long than men. However that only women have long hair is definitely not universal.

there is no biological reason - there is nothing in our genes or dna that says women have long hair and boys have short hair. It's a cultural thing...here in the US (and in most Westernized countries) it is not socially acceptable for guys to have long hair. Long hair on women is seen as culturally beautiful...

in the old tiimes, boys have shorter hair because they are the ones working and having a longer hair will only disturb them while working.. nowadays, we are adept to seeing boys in short hair and girls with long hair as a result of our culture.

Because boys have their hair cut more often. It starts with their mothers wanting do identify them from their sisters, then the military wants to single them out to be suitably scary, then if they survive that, it gets to be a habit.

in a simple way to describe it is boys cut their hair and girls doesn't becoz if girls have short hair or bold or something like that then theyd look like a guy .................... but if your a guy with long hair then youd look like a girl ok.
