There may be people who "Love off Investments" but I think the techincal term is "sugar daddy".

At the rate you are going, I am extremely confident, that if your lifestyle consists of living in your parents basement and eating ramen noodles it's very likely you can be successful. If you are buying bonds you are going to have to search for some that pay around 100% interest which I believe will be difficult especially since bonds usually sell in denominations of $1000 and you only have $800. Although in order to get the 100% interest you seek the price would have to be discounted to the point where you probably could buy many. I would recommend an investment in grammar and possibly a spell checker. That will likely increase your income potential and the possibility that you will someday live (or love) off of your investments.

I would say you would need, at least, 1 millions dollars, to be able to live off of interest and gains.

In order for you to turn 800 dollars, into 1 millions by the time you are 21, you have to double your money, every 5 to 6 mo.s.

Meaning you need 200-250% Return on Investment each year...

I wouldn't say it is impossible, you could be the Next Warren Buffet.
best of luck

My wife and I are retired and live off dividends and interest generated by our investments. Most of our investments are blue chip stocks and bonds. Our portfolio yields about 4.5%.
