A woman should take her little boy into the ladies room. Women have doors on the stalls and some mens rooms don't.It would be real inconsiderate for a woman to go into a mens room. The men wouldn't like it either. Just as a man may have to take his daughter into a womans room for the same reason. We do have doors and it would feel strange to have a man come in but with fathers haveing custody of their children now, at least it would be understandable. As long as the little girl was VERY young.Up to 3 years old I guess.I would think after that she would be old enough to go by herself and I can't imagine her being bothered by any of the women inside. Hard call.

She shouldn't go there at all!
There are Parent's Rooms in many shopping centers and the like, where parents can accompany their child to the toilet. I wouldn't like to walk into a lady's toilet and find a man there so I wouldn't think it right to go the other way. Many lady's toilets do allow boys under say six, into the ladies toilets when accompanied by a woman.
I have even had a grandfather ask me to take his young granddaughter to the toilet because he didn't want her going on her own, but didn't want to take her to the gent's toilet with him.
At all time the child's safety should be a prime concern, but you do have to be sensitive to the feelings of others as well.

Well it really depends where you live....Some shopping centres have "Parenting Rooms" where you can take your child to do their business. Both women and men can go in at their own discretion so their child can go to the toilet. But if it was me and say my son was 4-5yo i would just take him into the Ladies room.
No way would i want to go into a male one just in case the guy was using the urinal instead of the actual toilet. At least if i take him into the female i can keep an eye on him and make sure some fool doesnt try to take him from me. And its all behind closed doors, as women cant pee into those urinals....unless she has great aiming skills lol.

Generally speaking, it seems more of a usual and accepted practice for mothers to to take very young sons (too young to go to the bathroom on their own) with them to the lady's room.

are you serious?
ive actually never seen it happen. but usually she should go to the womens room
i used to take my daughter into the mens room, but honestly now that shes too old for that, and still maybe too young for some places id go into the womens room if i had no choice and if i felt like she was in danger... hell i might even go in there just to clean off the toilet seat if she came out and told me it was dirty
i wouldnt ask anybodys permission
honestly i dont see that she was that safe, if a woman came in a bathroom and offended me in anyway she'd defenitely be in the wrong place.
a sexual predator may just see that as a golden oppurtunity though
bad idea overall but if the womens room is full, and the kid has to go and still needs help what is she gonna do?
quit being a wuss, if you're peeing and somebody is behind you helping their kid get his belt off or holding him up to the urinal i dont see how it matters that much what gender they are
besides, if shes pointing and laughing... at least this time shes getting peed on
lol, lmao, fotflmao

I would take my child to the ladies room. My stepchildren traveled a lot on their own. One boy older and young girl. I always told the older brother to go with his younger sister to the ladies room. It is to dangerous for a child to go anywhere alone if they are young. Besides the ladies room are all door stalls unlike the men's room. And let's face it usually the ladies room are a lot cleaner.

I think most ladies take them to the ladies room. It is much easier for women to accept a little boy in their midst than men to understand a woman with a child.
