I think it's pretty lame and useless.

Relax, I'm pretty sure I can wing it and roughly surmise where you'd be going with your very most desired creative foul language ever creatively devised.
American Idol is one of my guilty pleasures.
This is not to say that American Idol is without its irritations and limitations. Once the audition cruelty is over, I enjoy the idea of hopeful singers getting a huge break that they probably never would never have.
But to each his own. It seems like there is often a show that gets discussed ad nauseum. The last one I recall was Dallas, and I wasn't into that one much.
And as far as those posters go who apparently have no scroll bar -- shark bait!

I can honestly say that I just don't know because I've never watched it. What's annoying is all the hype.
If I were a musician, I'd resent it for the waste of recording contracts.
As a music lover, I resent it for the waste of recording contracts.
As a Yahoo! Answers user, I'm annoyed that twice a week there are countless questions, often one after another, asking who got booted off. That's really embarrassing as a human being. What mindless dolts don't look--at least on the first page--to see if it's already been asked, and how on earth do they miss that it's got 212 similar questions asked in the last 2 hours?!!
...but I really don't know because I have never watched American Idol.

I trust you. I hate reality television shows. they're demanding and characteristic no element. I not in any respect watched American Idol, and really not in any respect care to. Im scared that faster or later all of television will be reality, its already taken up soo many of the suitable time line united statesits ridiculous! Who cares who can sing the superb, act the superb, dance the superb, who needs a sparkling homestead, ect..! turn on ABC at 9pm on Wednesdays and watch a good high quality teach like lost!

Never watched it never will.A ll the hype about has really turned me off of it. Can't believe how many really good shows have been canceled because of it. It seems to me every three months or so that the TV schedule just gets worse and worse.

thank you!!!! what a relief, i thought i was the only one who found america's fascination with degrading people on national television disgusting. i mean america's funniest videos are funny in an innocent "let's all laugh at candid mistakes" kind of way....but it's irritating how much people get off on these other people being horribly humiliated for attempting to pursue their musical interests.

The funny thing is.....
There should only be ONE idol...because that's what an IDOL is.
So how in the hell does this damn show keep coming back with the same damn name!
Argh.
I guess only intelligent people like our selfs find the show extremely annoying....

(i understand your frustration..sometime you need a good swear to get people to understand EXACTLY how you feel)
