If he wants to bring it up, I'll let him. But I don't press. I don't really worry that much about the past history except inasmuch as I'm very very strict about protection (against both pregnancy and disease.) I don't care who a guy has been with (or if he's been with anyone) if he treats me well and is willing to take the steps to keep us both safe.

Another reason I don't look at past history is because I'm kind of outside the norm and whom I consider a good boyfriend might not be the consensus among the rest of my "sisters." I mean there are some universel things (being treated well, a certain amount of attention and affection) but there are probably things a lot of girls would break up with a guy over that wouldn't bother me at all and vise versa. In other words, I don't use other people's opinions of someone to deternine what I think.

Sometimes yes. They may start dating a guy without knowing their past history. But eventually it will come up or they will ask and they better like what they hear! But even if you have a sketchy past, its best to be truthful. Its better to tell the truth and explain why you did something or how you've changed, than to lie and get caught in it.

Not really. As long as he's over them & never want to bring them up I'm good with that. But if they still keep in touch suspicuously or still have a strange relation going on, I'd be very veyr concerned.

Yes... I would say most do. I have a tendency to relate anecdotes from my life, and invariably I will bring up an old girlfriend to a current one... most of them are cool about it... some get a twinge of jealousy. But you should never compare you old girlfriends to a current one... unless it's in your own mind and you keep it to yourself!

Some do, they are the ones that are self confident and with a high self esteem and won't settle for a jerk. Then there are those that don't. they are "usually" low self esteem, very lonely and will believe anything a man tells them.

obviously not, the same jerks keep using girls over and over. they'll be three to four girls fighting over some ugly no job user with 6 kids by six women piece of crap.
