Excellent on economics balanced budgets and left office with a huge surplus.
Believes abortion should be left up to states but a ban on partial birth.
Welfare reform that actually helps people but doesn't reward those who don't want to work.
Wants to have the Iraqi vote on us being there.And if they vote for us to stay then we impose benchmarks which must be met.
Options to purchase healthcare which is equal to government employees at an affordable cost.

Tommy Thompson...he does follow through he did great in Wisconsin as Governor He is a man of strong principles and will stick up for what he believes.No he's not good looking.He come off as kind of quiet until someone tries to back him down.He's not stubborn and works well with both parties.I really think he'd unite America again.

The ideal President is one who is good in economy and excellent in foreign policy.

Some good ideas, but what has this person accomplished (other than balanced budgets which while impressive isn't everything)? I won't commit without knowing a LOT more.

No. Abortion shouldn't be left up to the states. It should be left up to the individual.

Otherwise, he or she sounds adequate. The problem is, you didn't mention whether this person has the charisma necessary to run and win with a shallow American public, nor whether he has the balls and integrity to actually push forward his agenda in the face of huge opposition.
