I am pro-choice even though I abhor abortion. I am more in favor of birth control--it should be a crime not to discuss birth control with your teenage daughter and obtain it for her if she is or plans to become sexually active. We all hate to think of our daughters having sex at this age, but they do it. Why stick your head in a hole?

At the same time discuss STD's and other bad things that can happen as a result of unwise sexual practices.

I think abortion is a totally abhorrent practise, but im pro choice. There are cases when it is "acceptable", in the loosest meaning of the word, but it shouldnt be done because someone couldnt bother about contraception or even abstaining.

I am pro-choice for the general population -- back when women couldn't get safe abortions, they did just terrible things to themselves to get rid of the unwanted baby -- or did terrible things to the unwanted baby. SHUDDER!

Personally, though, after having two children, I don't think I could ever choose abortion for myself. To kill that potential human -- no. There's no way I could do it. )-: Although Mother Nature has pulled the plug on me three times.

If my daughters ever came home pregnant, I'd do my best to help them have the baby and keep it in the family, I think. But for people with no family support, no money, no husband, no education, no job . . . having a baby is really tough, and I don't want to judge them. They have to live with their decisions.

I am pro-choice, but lately it just kills me to think about it. Hubby and I have been trying forever for a baby, with no luck. Just sucks to think of someone killing a baby, that'd I kill to have. But in the end it is her body, her choice. Sorry I rambled.

Pro life! Abortion is murder. The baby is a human being even though they are not born yet. Many couples would love to have a healthy baby but can't. Give the infant up for adoption don't murder it please. It makes me want to cry thinking that people think it's okay.
