This Bond story was the first one that Ian Flemming, the creator of James Bond ever wrote. It was written to be his first mission as a double O agent, and show how he became the James Bond that Connery and all the others portrayed. This movie had never been made before, and I love that they did it! I am fairly certain that we will see Craig start to become the more traditional Bond in the coming films, but I thought it was a refreshing change to see someone do something other than just trying to copy what Connery did! He made the role his own, without having to copy anyone else!

I know what you mean. I thought it was weak and half baked. Might as well kill the series if that is what they will be turning out. I know I won't spend good money to see that. I want to be entertained, not wanting to slap the director. As long as were at it. Why make another beginning to batman or another peter pan. Good grief how many time will they remake the same movie.

Like Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond. He made Bond seem human and real.

you do know daniel craig represented Bond at his debut right ? It takes place before all the other bonds.. I think he did a fantastic Bond and is 2nd best next to Connery then him, then Dalton.
